Dr. Tina Cary, principal of Cary and Associates, has established working relationships with more than a dozen other sole proprietors whose services are engaged on an as-needed basis. Dr. Tina Cary
Dr. Tina Cary is President and founder of Cary and Associates. Past president and a Fellow of the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS), she earned a Ph.D. in Geography from Columbia University in New York. As a marketing consultant and keynote speaker, Dr. Cary has worked with senior executives in the mapping sciences both domestically and internationally, in business, academia and government. Clients receive the benefits of her experience, industry knowledge and contacts, and educational background:
Experience: 35 years in remote sensing and GIS research, training, and marketing. Before founding Cary and Associates, she was employed at Space Imaging, EOSAT, Rutgers University, NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies and Purdue University.
Industry knowledge and contacts: Tina Cary is Past President and a Fellow of ASPRS and a member of the GeoSpatial Solutions Editorial Advisory Board. Cary and Associates is a MAPPS member company and an Associate Member of the Open Geospatial Consortium.
Education: Fieldwork in Kenya for one year as a Fulbright Fellow; MA and PhD in Geography from Columbia University;

Linda Duffy
Linda Duffy is a Senior Associate based in Denver, Colorado, where she heads her firm Apropos Research and Editorial Services. Cary and Associates has worked with Apropos Research on a variety of geotechnology research and editing projects since January 2003. Ms. Duffy holds an M.B.A. from the University of Colorado - Denver, a B.S. in Finance from Ithaca College, and a Certificate of Advanced Studies, Geographic Information Systems from the University of Denver. She has conducted market research in the high-tech arena for more than a decade.
Dr. Bob Ryerson
Dr. Bob Ryerson is a Senior Associate based in Manotick, Ontario. Dr. Ryerson specializes in remote sensing and geomatics.
